In Bastia Mondovì Dario Sciolla and his family cultivate 10 hectares of vineyard, here in the last part of the Langhe hills where the vineyards gradually disappear and the grasslands and hazelnuts fields are almost everywhere. The Dolcetto Dogliani is the best wine and in this traditional cellar it is really value for money. We taste a 2009 vintage bottle and the structure is very strong and harmonic, with aromas of blackberry and cacao .
