The introduction of the Dogliani Docg and the Dogliani production area extension, incorporating the Dolcetto delle Langhe Monregalesi, is contribuiting in giving more visibility to this charming but not famous part of the Langhe.
Dario’s little cellar is one of the old farms operating in this territory, where they farmers cultivate both grapes and hazelnuts. The altitude and the thermal excursion of Bastia, the village, are the determinant factors for the originality and the features of these wines. Dolcetto and much more, in this special range of wines really value for money.
The Dogliani Bricco San Bernardo ’10, even if doesn’t reach the top quality as in the 2009, has got a good quality level, with a bouquet very complex, with scents of mature plum, black cherry and leather; the taste is juicy and persistent. The Dogliani ’12 has a good drinkability and a dynamic freshness.
