The business led by Dario Sciolla, a typical company with mixed cultivations which, besides the vineyards has fields dedicated to the production of excellent hazelnuts, deserves a visit both for the quality expressed by every label they offer, than for the family pleasantness and genuiness.
This site, which is not much highlighted in the Langa’s oenological excellences maps, give very interesting surprises, due to a notable altitude and a temperature range which is able to provide a very peculiar freshness of drink. The oenological production is featured by the indomitable character, which well reflects the characteristics of the area.
The Dogliani Superiore Bricco San Bernardo ’12, among the most vigorous and long-lived of its category, it’s still lightly introvert, with a closed but rising bouquet; in the mouth it’s more outstretched, showing scents of prune jam, leather and spices.
The Langhe Rosso Diavolisanti ’12 is juicy with a fruity and sapid pulp.
